Behind the Camera: I was born and raised in this great city of Pittsburgh. I attended Carnegie Mellon University where I earned my engineering degree. It was in college where I started taking “pictures” as a hobby.

While in school I purchased my first DSLR camera and I haven’t looked back. My “pictures” have developed into photographs with meticulously planned composition, details, and lighting and my hobby has evolved into a passion – an escape from the real world to the world as I see it. When I am not out creating images of one of the most beautiful and recognizable skylines in the country, I am probably at the zoo or daydreaming about other exciting and exotic locations that I would love to travel to and photograph!

In today’s digital photo age it is vital to have a unique style. With a combination of a realistic representation of what is in front of my lens and a hint of digital processing, you will find that many of my images have an almost painterly feel. Each photo is truly a unique piece of art.
